California Family Code 3900. "Subject to this division, the father and mother of a minor child have an equal responsibility to support their child in the manner suitable to the child's circumstances."
This is what the law dictates. Why is it then that the court system is so bias against fathers? The way this law is interpreted needs to be revised! Responsible fathers do not enjoy equal rights and responsibilitites.
Fathers Clearly have the disadvantage. Changes in the ways the family court and the social services interpret these laws has to happen at once

9/06/2009 How to Get Involved
The way to do it is to come together and organize for equality.
I am at this time trying to start a non-profit organization that provides legal advice, counseling, and more for little or no cost. I am looking to build a board of directors but need more support. Will be organizing peaceful protests and developing a monthly newsletter.
The organization needs financial support & promoting. At this time the organization is looking for individual donors and companies that would be willing to donate time, money or both. We are also looking for some one who can write some grants for the organization and help with the 501 (c)(3) filing.
I am also looking to start an ambassador program which will allow people in different cities to participate in zync with what we are trying to do here in the Contra Costa County. You could definitely get involved at this level among other.

8/23/2009 - Looking to Create a Board of Directors
California Fathers Rights Advocacy group is looking to create a Board of Directors. We would like to establish this as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with a very clear mission to support and educate men on how to be better fathers who take responsibility for their children and mostly to fight for equal rights in the State of California. Clearly the mission may need to be redefined.
